In our South Texan inspired jerky, we don't add any salt, only soy sauce. Not only does it contain nearly six times less sodium per 100g as compared to salt, (according to the USDA), it also consists of many other nutrients. Our jerky is preservative-free, such as nitrites & instead we prefer to air-dry the moisture levels of the meat to 50% its original weight, that enables the meat to be preserved more naturally. This also intensifies the flavours & brings out the primal beef notes.
Our South African inspired Biltong is crafted from a home-grown family recipe that brings the traditional flavour of the timeless snack with a refined charcuterie edge.
